In 1978 Karen leaves home at the age of seventeen. Abandoning her family, she embraces life in the big city of Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.

Looking for love in all the wrong places, Karen perpetually meets Mr wrong while desperately searching for My right. Maneuvering through the Disco scene and a series of dead end jobs, Karen is faced with heartbreak and left over family dysfunction issues.

The 1970’s turn in the 80’s and Karen’s innocence and dashed dreams seem to get the better of her. However, her humour and wit give her struggles another element and you will fall in love with Karen’s underdog persona and ability to look on the bright side even during the messiness the life often brings.
